Essential qualification:-
Category-1 Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) Diploma in Engineering
1. Diploma in Mechanical Electrical Electronic Engineering from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India with minimum 60% marks. Diploma in Engineering should be of 3 years duration after SSC HSC.
Or
2 year Diploma course in Mechanical Electrical Electronics Engineering through lateral entry in 2nd year after HSC with 60% or more marks approved by (AICTE).
2. Must have English as a subject at least in SSC or HQ level examination.
Note- Candidates doing Diploma through lateral entry in 2nd year of Diploma after 10th SSC + ITI are not eligible.
Category 1- Stipendary Training Scientific Assistant ST/SA Science Graduate
1. With minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. with Physics as main subject and Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics and Computer Science as assistant or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects as equal weightage in B.Sc.
2.Mathematics subject is mandatory at HSC 10+2 level.
3. It is mandatory to have English as a subject at SSC 10+2 level.
4. Candidates who have Mathematics as main subject in B.Sc are not eligible.
Required physical qualification :-
Minimum height- 160 cm.
Minimum weight -45.5 kg.
Salary and emoluments -
First year of training - Rs 24000/-
Second year of training - Rs 26000/-
After training - Level 6 - 35400 /- and other allowances.
Age Limit –
18 to 25 years as on (14.02.2024).
Age relaxation :-
ST-5 years

Other Backward Classes – 3 years
According to the rules of disabled/ex-serviceman government.

At NPCIL Site in India
